Hey, hey!  I blog here now.  Yay new domain names.  Yay.  Yay silly girl wanting to leave Memphis. 

Today has been a pretty good day.  I haven’t been eating excessively and have been eating good foods.  I love the days when I do well. They must be celebrated.  YAY!

So, I’ve been thinking about moving this site.  That kinda messes up stuff Ive already done on it, and all the links and people who know me as this domain… but I am probably leaving Memphis in a few months and don’t want my weight loss to be strictly tied to a place.  Thats silly.  So I might change it.  This site was never meant to be used as a weight loss blog anyway.  It was just a domain I had for something else that didn’t happen that I converted to my weight loss blog.  So Im thinking about changing it.  What do you think?

** Update ** I will be moving this site to another site that I have.  Apparently I buy more domain names than I need.  But soon this one will go away.  So I will let you guys know where I go once I get it all set up. :)

Im not even sure what I feel like writing here.  So often I avoid using this as a real journaling tool because I dont want to share too much.  But honestly, why not right about feelings when they are what drive all my decisions good and bad?  But currently I am feeling lazy so I wont do that now.  For now I will just say - HOORAY!  I got another job … at the YMCA!  So now I will have a free membership that I can use whenever I want.  YAY.

I have a wedding to attend this Saturday… then about 7 more in the upcoming months.  I am only in one of these weddings (thankfully since the dresses always cost so much!) but I will attend the rest because most are the weddings of really close friends.  So of course I need to start acting like its wedding season and start getting in shape.  I better fit in my dress for the one wedding I am in!

Currently I am unemployed and have lots of free time.  Whats going on in the weight loss blogosphere?

Well, well, well.  Here I am!  I am back from my post graduation activities, packing, and my trip to Honduras.  I am glad I am back home and have some time to relax and get life in order.  I am going to start going to Weight Watchers next week, probably out in Bartlett.  :)

Other than that…I need a part time gig somewhere in the area.  Just for the summer though, because I am most likely moving in August.  Now, back to the rest and relaxation part of my weekend.

Hehe, as per request of Irene I am bringing my ass back over to blogging and the Healthy You Challenge.

Yeah, it has definitely not been a priority for me in the last month or so.  I have been trying to finish up my class work strong and get out of my last semester in college with decent grades despite the tornado and the crazy schedule.

This week is exam week and on Saturday I graduate!  Hurray!  After that I plan on hanging out for a week (and working out hard) then going to Honduras for a week where I will be hiking and walking a lot.  After that I am coming back and getting into the workout routine hardcore while I try to find a job. :)

Hope all my readers and healthy you challenge buddies are doing well.  Missed yall!

This site is so neglected!  Sad day.  I guess weight loss is on the backburner for now… at least until I get past this crazy amount of work to do in the next few weeks.  :)  Then its gym time!!

But I am blogging on a different site a little more regularly.  I don’t know why, but since I don’t have time.  Anyway, if you feel like it… check me out here.

Wow, worst comment ever.  From someone I don’t even know.    I mean, it might be true, but does saying this in a mean way make a person feel better about themselves?

Oh yeah, and yesterday was my 22 birthday.  I am older now!  Woohoo!

Today Thomas Beatie, the “pregnant man” is on the Oprah show today.

Only thing is, the pregnant man is only legally man. Biologically he isn’t. He is transgendered, born Tracy, a woman who still has all the reproductive parts necessary to produce a child.

The news reporting on this is really annoying. They keep saying he is the first pregnant man, but in reality he isn’t. Men don’t have babies, which is something the media is so quick to overlook. There is definite misrepresentation going on in all this hype.

Thomas may feel like a man, and legally be a man, but if he is having a child he is obviously not a man in the traditional sense. Men don’t have babies. The media needs to stop saying they do.
